Grad School Preparation Workshop (Attending a general interest conference or workshop: 3 points) Janiah Collier
Over the summer, I attended a professional development workshop hosted by the LAMIS Women's Health Institute, an organization that many of my friends and I are involved in. I initially attended to support my friend, but I was also genuinely interested in learning ways to strengthen my professional skills and better prepare myself for graduate school. The workshop was a valuable opportunity to reflect on my academic and career goals while gaining insight into how I can continue growing both personally and professionally. I appreciated being in a space surrounded by individuals who were equally passionate about their futures and personal development.
(Attached is the flyer I used to register for the event, since I did not think to take a picture while present.)
