General museum visit and reflection: 2 points (Jadyn Settles, CO'28)

This summer visited the High Museum of Art for one of their Fusion Fridays. I enjoyed the soulful mashups they played along with the variety of exhibits on display. I got to see a variety of pieces, from colonial-era art to traditional African art to modern art. Getting to analyze the art without context was already an enriching experience, but using the artist's statements brought an extra level of depth to the pieces because of the purpose and story behind them.
