Amaya Loubeau Traveling to culturally significant locations: 6 Points

Concluding my year-long Art and Luxury Branding course in Paris, sponsored by LVMH, allowed me to move beyond the corporate frameworks we had studied and experience firsthand how craftsmanship and artistic legacy shape the identity of luxury brands. Visiting La Galerie Dior made this especially clear, as I learned how Christian Dior’s foundation in the art world continues to inform the house’s visual language and curatorial approach to fashion. What stood out to me was how intentionally Dior constructs its narrative through exhibition, treating fashion not just as product, but as cultural artifact. In contrast to our earlier focus on branding strategy, this experience emphasized the role of art as both origin and ongoing influence within luxury. Additionally, meeting with Reinhard expanded my understanding of how brands actively collaborate with and support artists through residencies and creative partnerships, ultimately shaping more diverse and dynamic visual identities. This trip pushed me to think more critically about how luxury maisons maintain relevance through both heritage and innovation, and further solidified my interest in working at the intersection of art, storytelling, and brand development to create more intentional and inclusive creative ecosystems.
