Lana Washington ALD Honors Society Induction: 6 points
Evidence of engaged participation in academic honors society: 6 points
Being inducted into Alpha Lambda Delta (ALD) was really rewarding and made me feel recognized for the hard work I’ve put into school this year. I liked how it brought together students who are all motivated and focused, it made the moment feel shared, not just individual.
This experience connects to a pattern I’ve noticed in my life like putting myself in spaces that push me to grow. It also shows how important community is. I’ve realized that success isn’t just individual, being around other driven people pushes me to do better.
Being inducted into ALD made me more confident in my abilities and motivated me to keep going. It feels like both an achievement and a reminder to stay consistent.
Moving forward, I want to be more involved in ALD, take advantage of opportunities, and continue building connections. This experience pushed me to think bigger about my goals and how I can use what I’m doing now to help others in the future.
