Academic Enrichment: Attending a study abroad informational (2 pts)

There was an informational tonight about interning abroad. For me, there aren’t a whole lot of scenarios more ideal than spending the summer in another country gaining work experience and maybe getting paid. I thought tonight’s meeting would be tips about how to go about that process, maybe giving us some ideas of where to start looking. So, I was kind of disappointed when I realized it was all about getting connected to a program provider that offers internship experiences for thousands of dollars. I’m more hoping to get paid this summer. We did get Italian food, however, so that was a plus.
