Attending Honors Program Events (3pts): AUC Honors Mixer- Kristian Caldwell

 

 

Attending the Honors Mixer was a great opportunity to reconnect with both honors brothers and honors sisters within the AUC community. The event allowed us to catch up with each other and talk about what has been going on in our lives, as well as discuss current and trending topics. It created a relaxed environment where conversations felt natural and meaningful.

One strength of the mixer was how it brought people together in a comfortable and social way. It reminded me how important it is to maintain connections, especially in a rigorous academic environment. However, the event could have been improved by adding more structured activities to encourage deeper engagement among everyone present, especially those who may be more reserved.

Overall, the mixer reinforced the value of community and connection. It showed me that success is not just about academics, but also about building relationships and support systems. Moving forward, I plan to be more intentional about staying connected with my peers and participating in events that strengthen both my academic and social growth.
