Attending the SGA information session provided insight into student governance and leadership pathways. The session explained roles, responsibilities, and the impact of student advocacy. Learning about institutional structures encouraged informed participation. It emphasized representation within campus decision-making. The session clarified how students can engage with governance. It promoted active citizenship within the campus community.

This experience strengthened my habit of initiative by encouraging intentional involvement. It reinforced the importance of understanding systems before entering leadership roles. The session prompted reflection on representation and accountability. It aligned with Spelman’s emphasis on leadership development. The experience supported informed decision-making. It encouraged engagement with institutional processes.
