Attending the Spelpreneur workshop was a really informative experience, especially for understanding the business side of building a brand. One of the biggest strengths of the workshop was how it broke down important topics like legally solidifying your brand, protecting your ideas through NDAs, and how to properly handle partnerships. It made things feel less intimidating and more realistic, especially when they explained how to register a company and think about long-term security. One thing that could have been improved is having more step-by-step guidance or examples to follow for students who are just starting out.

This workshop connected directly to my interest in creating my own skincare brand. It showed me that building a brand isn’t just about creativity, but also about protecting your work and making smart business decisions. I’ve noticed a pattern that every experience I’ve had in this space emphasizes the importance of both the creative and professional sides of the industry.

Overall, this experience impacted me by making me more serious about taking the proper steps to turn my ideas into something real. Moving forward, I want to look more into the process of registering a business, learning about legal protections, and being intentional about how I build and protect my brand.
