Volunteer work related to career goals (3 points) - Kenzie Moore (Class of 2028)

 

I volunteered with PAC at Meals on Wheels, where we helped prepare and distribute meals to members of the local community. This experience reminded me that service is not abstract, it is tangible, consistent, and rooted in care. Supporting individuals who rely on community programs for daily nourishment reinforced the importance of collective responsibility.

Serving with Meals on Wheels also reminded me that leadership extends beyond titles. It is found in small acts of reliability and compassion. As a student and future technologist, I am reminded that innovation should ultimately serve people, especially those who are often overlooked.
