Volunteer Work Related to Career Goals: MLK Day of Service Literacy Project (3 points)

During the MLK Day of Service Literacy Project, I served in a leadership role by helping plan and lead the initiative. The project focused on supporting youth through literacy-centered activities, and my involvement required organization, coordination, and active guidance throughout the event.

This experience was both rewarding and developmental, as it strengthened my communication, planning, and teamwork skills. Stepping into a leadership capacity allowed me to move beyond participation and take on greater responsibility in ensuring the project’s success.
