Being awarded the Links Scholarship and becoming a Links Scholar was a deeply meaningful milestone that affirmed my commitment to leadership, academic excellence, and service. This honor represents not only recognition of my hard work, but also an investment in my future as a student dedicated to creating positive change in my community. Becoming a Links Scholar motivates me to continue striving for excellence while remaining grounded in responsibility and purpose. This experience reflects key Habits of Mind such as persisting through challenges, setting high standards for myself, and using opportunities to grow and give back. I am grateful for the support behind this achievement and excited to carry this momentum forward. The Links Chapter of Dogwood is a local chapter of The Links, Incorporated, a national service organization of professional women dedicated to community service, leadership development, and advancing educational and health initiatives. Being connected to this chapter allows me to learn from strong mentors while actively giving back to my community.
