  Creating a research bibliography or proposal using library databases: 4 points

During the process of writing my critical essay for African Diaspora and the World, I used the AUC Robert Woodruff

Library database to access some of the materials I needed to . During our class discussions, I would often recall other

essays or texts that I had read previously, and would make note of them. When it came time to write my essay, I

realized I did not have any physical copies of these books or essays, and I used the library database to access this

literature either electronically or through physical copies. When finishing my essay, I relied on the AUC library

database to correctly cite my sources and formulate my bibliography for the essay. This experience really enabled me to get comfortable with using the library database, which was slightly confusing when I first started using it. However, thanks to this assignment, I feel much more comfortable!
