Winning a local scholarship - Class of 2027 (+4 points)

 

I am grateful to have received the Carolyn House Stewart Endowment Fund Scholarship in November, a scholarship that will help me with my educational needs as I continue my Spelman education. Applying for local scholarships has been extremely helpful, especially to my parents throughout my college experience, because they can be put towards expenses such as studying abroad, groceries, living off campus, and other needs that can be burdensome for my parents to finance. Therefore, I try to be very diligent about finding and applying to external scholarship funds.
