Attending a General Interest Conference/Workshop (3 Points)

As a UNCF Student Leader, I had the opportunity to attend the UNITE Conference 2025, surrounding by other AUC and HBCU students. Through this three day conference, I engaged in a number of campus-focused sessions and workshops, bringing together presidents, board members, students, faculty and community leaders to share experiences and expertise for the advancement of HBCUs. I loved this opportunity as not only did I meet and connect with so many HBCU students, I was able to professionally connect, for example with COX Enterprises, and be hands on in conversation that truly result in impact on student experience at HBCUs. It was great to have my voice and opinions included in those conversations. I can connect this to my senior portfolio class in making networking an action in my day to day life, and I was able to do that at UNITE!
