A Day in Your Life at Spelman: Chloe Billingslea (2-3 points)

 I attended A Day in Your Life at Spelman and it was an incredible introduction to my future on campus. The mock classes offered were enlightening and the opportunity to meet with possible future Spelman sisters was enjoyable. During this event I was inspired by not only the passion shown by both the students and faculty, but also the confidence they hold in their institution. Hearing about campus involvement, academic expectations, and the support made available, provided a clearer understanding of this college and what it means to carry the Spelman name. The pride and purpose that this community holds was evident, it only reinforced my decision and desire to be part of this encouraging environment as well. The Day in Your Life experience solidified that Spelman is THE place where I knew I could continue my path of growth in both my academics and self development. Having the chance to immerse myself on campus and in the Spelman atmosphere allowed me to envision thriving in my classes, creating lifelong connections, and making my mark by contributing positively to Spelman's legacy. This experience showed me what my future could look like and only grew my excitement for my Spelman journey.
