Writing my MBA dual degree essay for NYU and scholarship forced me to think about my goals in a much more structured way than I was used to. What stood out to me was how difficult it was to be specific. It’s easy to say you have ambition but actually explaining what you want to build and why made me realize how much I was still figuring out. There were moments where I caught myself being vague or repeating ideas without really adding anything new, and that made me go back and rethink what I was actually trying to say. By the end of the process, I realized that although this essay was for scholarship and admission, it really functioned as an outlet for me to define my direction and vision in life more clearly.
