(4 points) Participating in Honors Program leadership roles: 4 points
Concluding my first semester as the Vice-President of the Honors Program Student Association, I have learned a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of my leadership style. In terms of my strengths, I attempt to seek feedback from the people I lead, and to give them grace. In terms of my weaknesses, I believe I need to be more assertive, and to make difficult decisions that might lead to people being upset with me. I am learning that as Vice-President, I do more than help lead the E-Board. I serve as the student voice for the hundreds of the students within the Honors Program. As I prepare to take over as President next academic year, I want to use Spring 2026 to assist in growing as a leader. I want to take the time to collect more feedback from students, and implement those suggestions in the program (for example, facilitating more STEM focused events).
