Creating the Mu Pi Vineyard video pushed me to think about storytelling in a more intentional way, even within a shorter, promotional format. It wasn’t just about capturing what the event looked like, but about representing what it actually meant, especially in terms of community service and the purpose behind Skee week. What stood out to me was how important it was to balance visuals with meaning, making sure that what I was showing aligned with what the event represents. At the same time, working within the pace of a live event made it difficult to fully control things like lighting, timing, and coverage. There were moments I wish I had captured differently or more completely, which made me realize how much adaptability matters in situations where you don’t have full control. Overall, this experience made me more intentional about what I choose to highlight in my work and how I communicate meaning beyond just aesthetics.
