Winning a Local Scholarship Award 4pts

Winning a local scholarship award for the Tallahassee Alumnae chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,, Inc. was an exciting experience that brought together students, teachers, and community leaders to celebrate hard work and giving back. It connected perfectly with what I’ve been taught at Spelman over the last two years about the importance of setting goals and staying focused. The event also made me realize success isn’t just about grades—it’s about being involved and helping others.

This experience increased my appreciation for greek organizations around the country and the hard work that goes into supporting the youth, both through programing and interpersonally. Winning this scholarship has motivated me in pursuing my goals and encouraged me to continue pursuing leadership and prioritizing academic achievement.
