Victoria Morris - Completing an online course or MOOC to earn a credential: 3 points

 

During the summer, I completed a nine-week Data Science and Machine Learning course at MIT. In this course, I learned how to write logical reasoning code and developed an AI program. I enhanced my Python skills and deepened my understanding of machine learning. The instructors were helpful and supportive throughout the course. Before this, my computer science courses at Spelman provided me with a basic understanding of coding and standard syntax. This experience has inspired me to explore more tech-based opportunities in the biomedical field. Moving forward, I will continue to delve into data science and its potential applications.
