Vice President of SKIRTS
As the Vice President of Sisters Keeping It Real Through Service, I have the honor of supporting an 85-member organization grounded in the values of sisterhood, service, and self-care. Our mission is to make a meaningful impact in the Metro Atlanta community through monthly service initiatives that address a variety of local needs. In my role, I assist the President in leading and organizing efforts that not only uplift the communities we serve but also strengthen the bonds among our members through shared purpose and collaboration.
My responsibilities include coordinating and overseeing all organizational operations to ensure smooth and effective execution of our goals. I play a key role in planning and facilitating both general body and executive board meetings, creating structured spaces where ideas can flourish and progress can be measured. By ensuring that our initiatives align with our mission, I help maintain a sense of direction and purpose within the organization, fostering consistency and accountability across all levels of leadership.
Additionally, I provide strategic guidance to committee chairs as they plan impactful service events and projects throughout the year. I also ensure that members remain engaged and committed to completing at least six hours of service each month, emphasizing both personal growth and collective responsibility. Through this role, I’ve gained valuable experience in leadership, organization, and community engagement—skills that continue to shape my approach to service and teamwork.
