Olivia Terrell- Organized and Hosted a School Event (6 points)

 I planned and served as the moderator alongside my sorors.  Our annual Lessons From My Big Spelmanite Sister event is an opportunity where the Epsilon Eta Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. provides underclassmen students with the chance to ask questions, receive advice, and be guided on navigating life at Spelman.

Hosting this event truly meant the world to me. It’s one of my favorite experiences at Spelman because it creates such a powerful space for connection, mentorship, and sisterhood.   As Black women, we need to create safe spaces where we can speak openly, share our experiences, and support one another without judgment.  Moderating this event reminded me of the profound significance of community to Spelman students.
