NBA x HBCU Fellowship: Golden State Warriors Summer 2025, Class of 2027

Being an NBA x HBCU Fellow with the Golden State Warriors was the opportunity of a lifetime. Over my 10 weeks in People Operations, while working closely with talent acquisition, I didn't just gain professional experience; I built a community, may have become a horticulturist through community service projects, and made memories I'll never forget. 

A strength of this experience for me was being able to intersect my passion for sports and ensuring a safe, collaborative working environment at the administrative level. A weakness of this experience was the homesickness I encountered. To be transparent, I developed an increased amount of independence as a DC native living in California for two and a half months. Moving forward, I plan to use my recent knowledge to develop a future that involves impeccable branding and delivering world-class services to the world.
