LSAT Virtual Prep Panel- Attending a general interest conference or workshop: 3 points
I recently had the opportunity to attend an LSAT Virtual Prep Panel hosted by Anthony Meni, a member of the TestMaster’s Program, which assists students in preparing for the skills-based test. During the Zoom, Meni explained how the LSAT is a beautiful test that measures your ability to read and reason. As there are studies that show the LSAT is the only standardized test proven to boost your IQ, Meni described the importance of leaning into our understanding of the LSAT. The LSAT consists of basic concepts that we encounter in our day-to-day lives. Understanding what the exam is testing/looking for is of great importance. As there may be some wording structure that appears awkward on the exam, Meni mentioned translating the question into a format that best suits your understanding and leaning into that. While on Zoom, we collectively practiced logical reasoning and reading comprehension. As Meni explained the structures of the test, it helped us gain insight into what to expect when taking the exam. This panel presented an extraordinary opportunity for me to gain insight into test preparation resources and understand the best approach to rationally analyze and critically think when faced with an LSAT question. As I move forward with my studying, I plan to use Test Masters and Anthony Meni’s contact for further assistance.
