Library Pass to Knowledge (4 points)
After hearing of our AUC library on Clark Atlanta Campus, my friends and I knew it was imperative to explore. Although I hadn't been in a physical library since the age of 12, I was very excited to see the resources prepared for us to help our college experience. One brisk walk to Clark's campus and passing by a couple of campus cats, our venture ended on the front steps of the building. Upon entering and finding the information desk, we inquired about getting a library card. After handing over our IDs and a little small talk, we were all set with our passes to knowledge.
I feel as though the importance of having a relationship with a library has only grown in the last few years. With the rise of AI built media and information from once reliable sources being influenced, physical information is growing in necessity. For example, within my First Year Experience class the journals we've been keeping is information written on physical paper. Personal accounts void of possible interference. ~Chloe Billingslea
