 This is a photo from the Spelman College Speech and Debate Team stand at the RSO fair. This year, I am serving as the 2026-2026 Debate Team Captain. In this role, I    lead my team through weekly practices, competitions, bonding events and workshops. This role allows me to teach Spelman students public speaking skills, argumentation and creativity. The debate team functions as a space for radical expression, critical thought and progressive dialogue. As captain I work to maintain a culture of sisterhood and diversity.
