Grier Francis - Monument Visit

Visiting the 9/11 Memorial was a deeply moving and humbling experience. Standing by the reflecting pools where the Twin Towers once stood, I was struck by the quiet power of the space: the names etched into the bronze panels, the sound of flowing water, and the sense of collective grief and resilience. The memorial honors not only the nearly 3,000 lives lost on that tragic day, but also the strength and unity that followed. Being there in person brought a new level of understanding and reflection that no photo or documentary could fully capture. It was a solemn reminder of the impact of that day and the importance of remembering.
