Completed a Summer Internship (+5 points)

During the summer of 2025, I served as a Family Governance and Philanthropy Intern at Bessemer Trust in Miami, FL, where I gained hands-on experience in strategic philanthropy and multi-generational wealth planning. In this role, I developed customized client materials that highlighted charitable organizations aligned with clients’ philanthropic goals and values. I also contributed to building a comprehensive, searchable database of over 600 nonprofit organizations categorized by mission and program area. This resource helped advisors identify meaningful giving opportunities, streamline client research, and strengthen engagement with families seeking to make an impact through philanthropy.

Beyond my individual contributions, I collaborated with fellow interns to co-lead a capstone project focused on strategies to strengthen family foundations and encourage next-generation involvement in charitable decision-making. Our team presented actionable recommendations that emphasized legacy building, education, and inclusive governance practices. I concluded my internship by presenting independent research on how Generation Z is reshaping philanthropy through values-driven giving and intergenerational collaboration, reflecting my growing interest in the intersection of wealth management, social impact, and family dynamics.
