 Career Development Reflection: Deloitte Recruiting Dinner

Attending the Deloitte Recruiting Dinner was an eye opening and inspiring experience. It was my first time connecting in person with professionals who blend business, strategy, and technology on such a large scale. Sitting at the table with Deloitte leaders gave me a chance to see how innovation and professionalism coexist in the real world. The conversations were full of wisdom about career growth, leadership, and confidence and each moment reminded me that representation truly matters in every space.

As a Computer Science major who’s passionate about the business side of tech, I found this event especially motivating. It helped me sharpen my networking skills and pushed me to step out of my comfort zone. Hearing from people who once stood where I am now made me believe even more in my ability to lead with purpose. I left the dinner feeling empowered, connected, and ready to keep growing into the kind of leader who uses technology to make meaningful change.
