Attending an HPSA Event: Ask Dr. Hite (+3 pts)

 

Attending the “Ask Dr. Hite” event was a meaningful experience and reminded me why I love being part of the EWG Honors Program. Dr. Hite shared exciting updates about distinctions for seniors, new academic opportunities, and ways the program continues to cultivate excellence among scholars. One of the most impactful moments was hearing from two Spelman alumnae, one working at McKinsey & Company and the other at Blackstone, who returned to share how their time in the Honors Program and guidance by Dr. Hite shaped their personal and professional growth. Listening to their journeys reminded me of the limitless possibilities that begin here at Spelman. Their success stories motivated me to strive for excellence and embrace every opportunity to learn, lead, and serve. Beyond the inspiring conversations, the event fostered a sense of community and sisterhood that makes the HPSA so special. I left feeling encouraged and proud to be a part of this legacy.
