Attending author talks - Kamala Harris 107 Days Book Tour (2 pts.) -- Kai Washington (Class of 2028)

Last week, a friend and I had an incredible opportunity to attend the Atlanta stop of Vice President Kamala Harris’s 107 Days book tour. What made the evening truly unforgettable was the once-in-a-lifetime chance to meet and shake hands with the former Vice President herself. The event was filled with energy, insight, and inspiration as Harris reflected on the themes of her new book, which chronicles the intense and historic journey of her presidential campaign—one of the shortest yet most impactful in modern political history. Throughout the night, she spoke about the current state of American government and the critical role our generation, Gen Z, will play in shaping its future. Her words served as both a challenge and a call to action, urging young people to stay informed, engaged, and hopeful as we navigate the political and social realities of our time.
