Atlanta Hawks Million Meal Pack Event (Class of 2028)

 

Last month I had the opportunity to participate in the Million Meal Pack event hosted by the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena. This was a very rewarding community service experience. Everyone that volunteered formed assembly lines at tables to pack meals for people in need. By the end of the event there were 1,045,272 prepared and packed. My table alone packed around 11 1/2 boxes over 2 shifts. It was very inspiring to see how teamwork and efficiency can make such a big impact in a short amount of time. This event was very fun and a great opportunity to do something beyond ourselves. Overall it was just nice to see how the Atlanta community could be brought together to serve those in need.
